Miami Plastic Surgeon Develops MTV UK- Plastic Surgery App to “Heidi Yourself”

New York, NY (August 18, 2010) – In 2009, reality television star Heidi Montag underwent nips and tucks that were heard around the world when she had ten plastic surgery procedures performed in one day. Now, those interested in seeing what they would look like after a series of cosmetic procedures can check out a new online application affiliated with MTV UK called “Heidi Yourself.” Created by Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer, this innovative application utilizes the technology available in his iPhone app iSurgeon, allowing users to “perform” cosmetic procedures on themselves.
“The Heidi Yourself Web application provides users with a fun, interactive way to explore various cosmetic surgery procedures by applying them to their own body image, before an official consultation in a doctor’s office,” says Dr. Salzhauer.
Created in support of a new MTV UK show titled Heidi’s Face, a pop documentary examining the transformation of Heidi Montag set to launch in the United Kingdom on August 22nd, “Heidi Yourself” allows users to upload an their own image and see what they would look like with similar procedures Heidi underwent. The procedures range from breast augmentation and chin reduction to ear pinning and liposuction.
