Is Plastic Surgery Part of The Facts of Life?
Did The Facts of Life Cast Reunite with Plastic Surgery?
Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “The cast of women from the Facts of Life appear to be very natural looking. Maybe a bit of Botox and dermal fillers here or there, but for the most part they do not appear to have had any cosmetic work done.”
The recent TV Land Awards turned up the casts of classic television gems including “The Cosby Show,” “Welcome Back, Kotter” and “The Facts of Life” with Geri Jewell (Geri Warner), Charlotte Rae (Mrs. Edna Garrett), Nancy McKeon (“Jo” Polniaczek), Kim Fields (Dorothy “Tootie” Ramsey), Lisa Whelchel (Blair Warner), and Cloris Leachman (Beverly Ann Stickle). After leaving the airwaves, Makemeheal.com wondered if any of the ladies had been having plastic surgery in preparation of possible return to TV.
‘The Facts of Life’ cast, Charlotte Rae, Lisa Welchel, Kim Fields, Mindy Cohn, Nancy McKeon and Cloris Leachman graciously accepted the Pop Culture Award at the 2011 TV Land Awards on Sunday, April 17.
Despite the girls being middle-aged and the older cast members representing as octogenarians, it seems that relatively few plastic surgery procedures have taken place over the years (See Make Me Heal’s story on Mindy Cohn’s plastic surgery).
Barring the ever-present Botox and dermal fillers like Restylane and Juvederm, The Facts of Life cast seem to have remained as natural and wholesome as ever.
