Gangster Whitey Bulgar and his Plastic Surgery Mol, Catherine Elizabeth Greig, Brought to Justice
Whitey Bulgar topped the FBI’s list of most wanted criminals, coming in just behind Osama bin Laden. Although Whitey has evaded capture for decades, just last month the authorities brought him to justice, thanks to his plastic surgery-loving girlfriend Catherine Elizabeth Greig.
81-year old Boston native Whitey Bulgar was living quietly in an apartment complex in Santa Monica with his 60-year old girlfriend Catherine Elizabeth Greig. Whitey has long been wanted by the FBI for allegedly heading a crime group that was allegedly involved in extortion, drug deals and various other illegal activities in the Boston area.
The FBI was able to close in on Whitey by following Catherine’s activities, which included regular plastic surgeries and maintenance appointments.
Catherine has likely had numerous plastic surgeries over the years, possibly to help change her appearance to avoid capture, or just to help maintain her youth like the rest of us.
Over the years, Catherine has likely undergone upper eyelid surgery, a nose job and facial liposuction. She probably also gets regular Botox injections and facial fillers placed in her lips and cheeks. Botox and fillers are non-permanent procedures and must be reinjected approximately every six months. Heading to the plastic surgeon’s office on a regular basis may have helped investigators find her and Whitey’s hideout.
Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Catherine Elizabeth Greig appears to have had several cosmetic procedures performed to her face such as an upper Blepharoplasty (eyelids), her nose, some facial liposuction- possibly creating that divot on her cheek, and dermal fillers. Non surgical treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers only last approximately 6 months so she would need to go back for touch ups a few times a year.”
