Actress Leighton Meester is Suing Her Mom Over Plastic Surgery

Apparently Leighton Meester has a rough home life, with an irresponsible mom and a troubled brother. It seems that the Gossip Girl is now suing her mom for spending money on plastic surgery, rather than care for her brother.
25-year old Leighton Meester is apparently suing her mother, Constance Leighton for spending the $7,500 a month Leighton provides for her brother’s medical needs on personal needs for herself. Constance reportedly has taken the money and spent it on Botox, a hair weave and other plastic surgery.
According to TMZ, ” Leighton claims her mom threatened to file a $3 million lawsuit against her unless Leighton started coughing up the dough. Leighton wants the judge to declare there’s no contract between her and her mom.”
Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says,“It is a terrible situation that Leighton Meester is currently facing with her mother. The price of beauty should not be at the cost of your family.”
This isn’t Constance’s first brush with the law, back in the day she reportedly was arrested for smuggling marijuana from Jamaica to the United States and as a result, Leighton was born in a halfway house. Leighton is also said to be seeking custody of her brother.
