Exposing Common Breast Cancer Myths:
Myth: Breast implants can raise your cancer risk
Reality: Women with breast implants are at no greater risk of getting breast cancer, according to research. Actually, some may argue that because a woman with implants requires additonal X-ray views when getting a mammogram, that they may actually have a better and more thorough view of their breast tissue; therefore having a better chance of catching anything suspicious.
So, Breast implants DO NOT raise your risk of breast cancer and many actually be a positive since they require a more thorough Mammogram!
