Despite denouncing plastic surgery for actresses, Meryl Streep has managed to maintain her looks, many think with a little help from cosmetic surgery.

62-year old Meryl Streep is getting ready to promote her latest biopic,  “The Iron Lady” as Margaret Thatcher. In addition to learning the distinguished lady’s voice and accent, Meryl may also have had some work done over the years that allows her play a wide range of ages, from 40 to 80, with just some movie magic.

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “I do believe that Meryl Streep has had some facial cosmetic enhancements in the past.  She has a very youthful look to her face and skin and may be the result of a face and neck lift along with Botox and dermal fillers to smooth out the fine lines and wrinkles.”

While Meryl’s hiatuses between films would allow for plastic surgery recovery, it is also possible that the actress is as naturally blessed with nice, firm skin as she is with talent.

The Iron Lady is making the rounds as is Meryl on magazine covers and fans can decide for themselves whether or not the 2-time Oscar winner has had some career help from plastic surgery.
